Alright I'm having a problem with my subs that just started. If the volume stays low the subs work, But after i start turning it up they pop and stop working. I don't know what the deal is. Any help is greatly appreciated. Sony M850 HU, rockford fosgate punch 200m amp

yeah thats what i started doing, I still have to pull the stereo out. I couldnt find ant torx bits at the house so i have to go to my garage (its not at my house) so I'm trying to narrow it down. could the RCA's be the culprit?

 

With what little info we have at this point, my moneys on a ground problem. Could be the amp to.

 

I am thinking ground also i replaced the amp with the same model amp that i had laying around it does the same thing. I need to check my body ground also

 

im just a rookie at this stuff. but it sounds like ur not gettin enuf power. or sumtin like it.
