help mp3 player + cd deck

Is there anyone ehre that has plug a ipod, or any other kind of mp3 player into the back of there cd deck?

My plugs look like this, but the back of my cd player has 4, plugs needed, 2 for the right side and 2 for the left side.

I'm not sure what to do.

I have philips mp3 player and a pansonic deck.

If you're looking at the back of your headunit odds are that you're looking at RCA outputs - not inputs. Check your head unit's owners manual to see if it has an aux in. If it does it will only require two plugs to be used, one for left and one for right.
