Can I hook up two Bazooka tubes ?

Got an old Bazooka EL8, don't make me go on about it too much, just the connectors on the side of it ... big joke right there .. 12 gauge power wire... ha .. ha

But hey I got it so... I was wondering since I can probably get a second one for 10 or 20 bucks, is there anyway I could hook up two bazooka tubes to an Alpine headunit that only has one pair of outlets ?

Yea, you can run them both off low level. Two of them in the back of a 3rd gen won't rattle your teeth, but it should sound pretty good.

edit: also, wouldn't be a bad idea to run an 8 guage power wire with the tubes either

Basically just get a "splitter" cable, or Y cable as I think it's called ?

8 gauge wire, how much can it handle ? Eventually I may upgrade but even then I doubt I would be running 800W amplifier.

Also how long should the power wire be ?

what do you mean? it needs to reach the bazooka tube. i would not leave 20' extra coiled up or anything, but i don't think the lenght matters a whole lot...

you are running power right off of the battery right? i ran mine along the left side of the car through existing wire looming to my amp in the well. should be realativaly the same for a bazooka tube since its just an amp/sub combo in a round encloser. remember that you want the shortest ground wire possable, run it to the nearest groundable area (one of the big bolts holding the PPDU should work) and be sure to run the signal wire (RCAs) away from the power wire. mine is currently going down the middle of the car through the interior. once i make it permanent (need to get a shielded one first) i will run it along the passanger side of the car.
