Power antenna replacement/repair

My factory power antenna stopped recently in the 'up' position, and the motor just keeps running, even with the car and radio turned off. I can force the antenna down (gently) back into the hole in the fender, but the motor still keeps going.

To prevent my battery from dying (again), I pull the antenna/interior light/radio power fuse when I'm not driving the car. I replace it when I'm going to be in the car for a while because without the fuse in, I have no power for my portable XM MyFi or my cell phone charger.

Besides wanting my antenna to work properly, with the fuse out I lose my station presets on my radio.

My question: Can I get a rebuild kit, or should I replace the complete antenna unit?
If replacing the whole unit, where do I get an OEM replacement - the dealer?

I just don't want to waste effort putting in an aftermarket unit if they are bad as I have heard they are, but I do want a working power antenna...

Thanks for any advice you guys can offer.
