HU Front Panel Aux Input...New?
Sony's new head unit's have AUX inputs on the front. Most AUX inputs I have seen (alpine, pioneer) require an attachment for AUX input, and and that requires removing the head unit for installation.
I know wires out of the face of the head unit are not the neatest job, but for the price and the ease of hooking up i pods, satellite radio, or even laptops. It is a practical feature that took some time to get here, but I'm glad it finally made it.
Any thoughts?

JVC has had this feature for many years. They had it 6 years ago on the Digifine series of decks. It's not a new feature, but with face plate real estate getting tighter and tighter, you're not likely to see it too often. For those who want easy access to their aux input, running an extention from the back panel to the edge of your center console is very easy.

Aiwa has had that input as to, same with other cheap units. I'll add that some of the cheap unit are coming out with USB ports on the faceplate now.

ORIGINALLY: It is a practical feature that took some time to get here, but I'm glad it finally made it.
UPDATE: It is a practical feature that took some time for me to find.
Didn't know JVC had it.
Thanks for the feedback.
