What amp?
I was wondering what amp would do well with the items I have
I have purchased a ALPINE CDA-9827 Head unit
I will be getting an Alpine Type-R 12" sub
And a pair of Alpine Type-R 6x9's
What amp would do well
I was told that the alpine V12 would be the best but I wanted a second opinion

Again, this depends on 3 things:
1 - what speaker(s) do you want to power?
2 - how much power do you want to feed them?
3 - how much are you looking to spend?

i have an american legacy 600wt amp, and it pushes my 2 10" apline "r"s just fine. it was only 70 bucks on ebay. v12's are expensive. i have never had any problems with the amp shutting off or nothing, i have a 300wt crunch pushing my mids and highs, and it overheats way more than the amerian legacy.
