Unless you are keeping the car 100% original for some reason, put the OE radio in your spare parts bin and just run an aftermarket deck. If you want to keep the car OE, you can always pu the factory one back in down the road. IMO, the best bang for the buck aftermarket unit if you want to stay low on the price scale is Pioneer.

im having my bose gold series repaired in a couple of months, because i wont need it until may ne way, but if you dont want yours any more i might just want it, show some pics of it

The point of getting the factory stereo repaired is its less likley to get stolen than an aftermarket, and I dont use the CD player enough to purchase a new one. But thanks for your input anyway.
