Defiantly won’t fit there. You might be able to fit a tweeter there if it's flush mount but that's about all I can think of. There's metal directly behind the plastic.
You can make a baffle board for the 6x9 hole and cut a 6.5" speaker there though
Plenty of room, you could fit a 7 or 8" midbass if you wanted to.

thanks for the reply
I have a pair of 6x9's that go in the sail panel. I'm adding a pair of 6.5's & 4's.
Where to put them is harder to figure out than I thought. I have a sub box in the back cargo area. I was thinking about making a box or some kind of bracket on the roof, right infront of the hatch/glass. Has anyone done this before?
All input welcome

I would just lose the 6x9's and make a baffle for the 6.5's in their location. that's what I did.
The 6.5's are going to sound better then the 6x9's anyways. Plus just adding more speakers isn't going to make it sound any better. With that many speakers in the back, your sound stage is going to be all behind you. So it will drown out any frontstage that you have.
You could also make some kickpods and put the 6.5's down there too. Which would help bring the sound more to where it needs to be.

My personal vote is for kick panels but they do get to be annoying from time to time.
