What do you guys think of in-dash dvd player Phase Linear UDV9010? A friend of mine wants to sell me a used one(3 months), and she is asking $300. Is it worth it?

Right, but also cheap. Doing an AV system but what to try with out shelling out big$, it may last a while, may be worth a shot. But if it's dead in a month, don't be shocked.
