Hey guys, I remember reading this before, but in my 85 ROC.. I still have a stock radio but whenever I accelerate I can hear these loud squeals and noises coming out of my speakers. I saw in Eckler's a part for it, but I can't remember exactly what it was. I was wondering if you guys could tell me what causes this and what I need to fix it. Thanks!

 

Sound like the filer caps IN the HU are going south. You could try an noise filter, or running an extra ground from the chassis of the HU to ground(don't really think this will help you), or get a better HU.
