Amp choice

I have two older model Kicker Comp VR 8" subs
with a 480w pioneer 4 channel

well i want a third sub.... i settled with a cheap *** 15" sub for now (that's sitting in my room until i can run new cables lol)

but i want to buy a new 15 that is 500W (peak) and 250W RMS (the rockford punch) by the end of summer

wait let me rephrase that... i am going to BLOW the 15" so i NEED to get a new one

and with that a new amp

i am not sure what i should look for but i was thinking i would bridge the 15

1000 watt should do it right?
what brand do you suggest that won't dig too deep into my wallet

and about when should i start thinking about a cap.?

First: Third as in 2 8"'s and one 15"? Dont do it. Not only will they laugh at you, but you run a good chance of being poked with a stick.

Second: Looks like you have alot of reading to do before you even decide on whats best. If you are fantasizing about "bridging" being the magic troll that whips the gerbil making it run faster. Forget about it. Its a concept that needs explained when you are ready to shop. Save your pennies...

Third: Have a substantial question i.e. "I have a rockford rfp 1204 12" 4ohm single voice coil subwoofer that i need to run at rms. Which Rockford amplifier will run this most efficiently" Notice the detail of the product in question...Notice the preferred brand choice....notice the correct spelling.....

Fourth: A cap?? You are a retail salespersons dream sell. You don't add a cap. Instead of spending $195.00 on a bunch of foil and liquid with a light on top, spend the money on an alternator. Something has to make the power...
