i am looking to purchase one of these as a gift for my husband and i don't know which one is better. What are the main differences in the eclipse 5495 and 6600. Thanks

 

I have the 5495 and it has the maps allready loaded in the 30gig hard drive. It's not compatable with an Ipod, or any satellite radio. Plus you can't put mp3's on the hard drive you have to record your cd's real time. The newer 6600, has 2 dvd/navigation slots/drives, It is compatible with sat. radio and the ipod, Your maps are on a nav. dvd. Im going to upgrade soon!
