2 12" Subs
I finally got around to doing it. It dose sound better then my old set up here. This is tempoary till I figure out what I want to do for a box. But I kinda of like them there. It dosen't sound that bad. It's GOING to need a box though if I want it to sound really good. Plus I need to get the amp adjusted. But in all. It's not that bad. I screwed up on the board though. I'll probaly make a new one and carpet it and do some other things to it till I get around to a box. The subs are Alpine type-e 12" and the amp is an Alpine mrp-m350 amp. So let me know what you guys think. Adam :-)

The plate is only for now. It was the fastest and cheapest way to get them in the car. I have plans for a box. Just got to get the money and time to do it. Adam :-)

I've had better luck with two 12" subs isobaric on a board across the well in the bottom. AAMOF, I hit 135.5 dB with just one of them the day after I blew one while trying to get ready for the dB Drag contest.

I'm not really into the loud system db drag things. I just want a system that sounds clear and has some bottom end. The only resson I went with this stuff is because I got it from my brother. He's having another kid and needs the trunk space. And I just used the board because it was the cheapest way to get them mounted in the car. They do sound good like they are though. It's better then what I had. i just need to get a set of speakers for the front and rear. Adam :-)

I'm not saying you need to shoot for SPL either.
I'm saying that the seal I got from putting them in the lower well was much better than resting them up top like you have them. That was my point.
And the better seal you have, the better they will sound. Doing it the way I did won't cost you any more than what you did.

OK. I see what your saying. You put it lower down in the well instead of like the hinge thing I did up top. I get it now. Adam :-)

I need to get a box though. I was out at a show tonight with my car club. We started comparing are subs. I have the biggest out of all of them. But it hit's the softest. lol. They have like a old crappy 10" sub in a sealed box. I felt like a supped up Camaro owner that lost a race to a Honda. lol. Adam :-)
