Wiring Help Needed??????

I am doing the Big 3 upgrade. Now to stereo & amps. I have a JL audio 500/1 for subs and JBL75x2 for components. I am running 1/0 gauge from battery to Distribution and 4 gauge to JL amp and 4 or 8 to JBL amp. 1. Is this correct in doing it this way? 2. What size fuse needs to be near the battery? 3. What size fuse needs to be in distribution block? 4. What size speaker wire should my subs be wired with 16g,14g? I am getting ready to get my wire and start ripping the interior out, run the wires, put down the Raamat. Any help would gladly be appreciated.

Thanks

Larry

Wire size seems sufficient.

For fuses on the dist block and inline, check out what your amplifiers are going to draw. If the dist block has seperate fuses per line then you want to put in a fuse that will match the draw of the amp on that line, and add the total draw from all amplifiers/accessories and thats what you want at the battery end.

In my case i have 3 amps. they draw 80/40/10 amps a piece so on the dist block i use 80/40/10 amp fuses, then on the inline up by the battery i have a 150 amp (overkill) AFS fuse.
