Hey guys. I just about have a "new" solution to the t-top sub box. When it's complete I'll post some pics. I'm gonna run 2 10" type R's wired to 2 ohms into An Alpine mono amp 600x1@ 2 ohms. RMS on the Type R's are 200-500 each. Will the amp be enough? Thanks.

it could be better like the mrd m1005, but it will still sound good. Jus not to it's potential. I was going to run that amp to just one type r 10 or maybe the mrd1005 to 2.

 

OK, on the new solution. I built a dual box that sits over the tops so you could slide the tops under the box into the bag. I hope that it will sound good,just waiting on a new amp. The box still needs a little bit of work. I'll try to get some pics up soon.

 

sounds real interesting. WHy didnt you just build a flush mount box and lay the t-tops on grilles for the subs?
