if i folded the back of the rear seat down and placed a box with the supwoofer facing the rear would it sound just as good as a custom box for the well? my friend has this setup but his is ported and it sounds good but i like sealed, anyone ever tried this thanks

 

wont sound that great, also depends on wut u consider a custom box for the well. some guys i ve seen just put a plate over it, i have a fiberglass box that was custom molded to my well and cover wit 3/4 mdf wood it holds 2 12's and a 10 in the middle, now that the way to go
