Not a big deal

My stock tape player doesnt work on my 88 Iroc. Everytime I insert a tape, it just turns the reels for 4 sec then spits it out. Any suggestions? Is it hard to fix? I just figured if it was something simple I could keep it for backup or if I decide to go all stock at some point (for some reason).

thanks

Most likely a worn or loose belt inside, so it's not able to turn the tape properly.
So it ejects it.

If you can find a place to buy the belts they are usually an easy fix. Just need to know how to open it up, and get to the belts.
