new rampage bluefinoix 500 watt 4 channel bridgable amp, will it push 2 12's at all or should i not even bother, great price on it tho...brand new

If you dont care about quality it all depends on the RMS and max output of the subs. You dont wanna look at the 500 watt part. That is the max of the amp. Each channel is only pushing 125 watts the most and if u bridge you can put out a 2 channell with each pushing out 250 watts. That all ready sounds like a crappy amp. Measure up not that max, but what the amp pushes with RMS power, also, do it right, buy at the most a 2 channel amp if you want a stereo sound in which both woofers are on thier own channel, in which would be good if you like rock, or a mono which both subs are hitting the same, in which you would probably like if u are into rap. All in all, just look at the RMS power outputs and match them up and then also make sure the max output of the amp isnt higher of that of the woofers.
I can tell you know though, unless they are cheap subs, ur amp wont push for the performance you want, you will hear it, but, u wont be impressed.

^^^ exactly.. just save up man, really pays off in the end, unfortunately i learned the hard way :P but oh well.. i finally got some pretty good stuff and realized i shoulda saved and bought this stuff in teh first place

savin up is not the issue, its that this deal came accross and i wanted to kno if it was any good, since its not ill pass on it, thanx for da help fellas
