Kenwood makes a verrrrry compact sub unit. 150 watts out of two 6.5 inch subs, anyone tried this? Im trying to compare this to the infinity basslink unit thanks!

This is not going to be helpful I bet but, When i was looking for a powered sub to put in My wifes Suburban I came across a review of the Basslink T from infinity and the Kenwood you are referring to. The reviewer was pleasantly surprised at the kenwood. Its output was good and the sound quality was good. It rattled his mirror and gave an octave or so more bass extention. Now this is from memory so bare with me. It is a 6 1/2 inch woofer and a 6 1/2 inch passive radiator. I did end up going with the infinity. It has a 10 inch woofer 250 watt amp and 2 10 inch passive radiators. I or rather my wife loves it. She has been using it for a year now. It was last years Xmas present. I hope this at least gives you an idea. I would google the kenwoods model number and any reviews (professional) of the product and use a grain of salt in your evaluation of reviews.

the 6.5" woofer isn't gonna hack it...

ride in a 4thgen with Monsoon and listen to the bass... if that's enough for ya, then 6.5" will suit your needs... if not, I recommend 10" and up
