Car Alarm Trouble
OK, I couldn't find an appropiate section to post this in so i decided on here. well I've got a 93 Jeep cherokee and it has an aftermarket car alarm on it. a Python 1500HF. the problem is that the alarm will turn on jsut fine but it wont turn off when the car is started. i can however turn off when the brain is disconnected and then reconnected. anybody have an idea what may be wrong with it. i believe that python alarms are made by DEI.

Did you have someone else install your alarm? I would say that if you did, take it to them.
And guys, this may be a Third Gen specific website, but this is an issue with an alarm, not the vehicle itself. The vehicle that the alarm is on does not affect the alarm itself. Would have been easier to just not post if you don't have anything to say to help out, instead of being rude, this is how people get ran off and spread a bad word about this place. I have heard plenty of people talk bad about us and this site, when in-fact this site for the most part is not a bad place at all.

Well I was hoping that you guys would be understanding to the fact that I am having some car trouble and help me out a little. The Alarm was installed by a shop. The vehicle belongs to my shop teacher and as far as I know the problem has not been resolved. Any insight as to what the problem may be?

I honestly don't have any idea as to what the problem might be. I would just advise him to take it to the place it was installed at and make them look at it, and it might even get done for free since they installed it, depending on what it needs. Could just be the receiver for the remote, not sure.
