From my experience in general, lightning audio has quality compareable to that of a pile of crap. It is too generic and the individual parts seem cheap.

actually i wouldn't diss them to much, i replaced my eclipse's speakers with them and i was pretty impressed.... they are made by rockford fosgate if you look on the box, and if you don't know who that is... well read up lol... i'm not saying they are the best but a good upgrade for the price and they sound better than sony xplod's and some low end pioneer stuff. if i rememeber correctly i picked up a set of 6x9's for like 30 bucks and 6 1/2's for like 24-26 bucks...

Geez, guys! 86 camarokid has it right.

Lightning audio is indeed made by Rockford Fosgate. Their amps are great, they've got a staggered 4 channel setup in one of their lineups (middle line), which is an awesome concept for us. I had a strike 300 I think it was, worked out good.
Speaker are undoubtedly rebadged Rockford stuff. I like Rockford subs and amps, not overly impressed with their speakers though. However they are light years above walmart junk. Take that as you will.
