Axle/Gears: huh?? guessing stock.
I simply built an amp rack that has a carpeted lid to match my hatch interior so thiefs cant see my amps then put a computer 80mm fan so it blows across both amps. No issues with overheating now.
I'm in Florida, just to give an idea of the weather. Mine used to turn off every 15 minutes one summer. Even with the windows down. It got so hot the plastic cover that slides over the level controls and high/low mix started the get all deformed and melted.
After I got my back window tinted 25% (about the legal limit here)
and built a "box" to cover it out of some 3/8 wood and batted/fabricted that but the front where the wires all are is angled open to cover the wires but provide some ventilation, haven't had any problems. It just needed some shade.
