I just put my new Alpine deck in. As far as I know, I went by a GM wiring diagram and my Alpine diagram, and coordinated which wires to go which. This problem sort of arose when I wired my cluster illumination wire with my dimmer wire in the car. (Orange on the alpine to grey in the Camaro. This is what the wiring diagram said.) When I go to pop open the lid in the back, it won't open. The switch clicks, but the lock doesn't allow the lid to open. When I take out my deck, the trunk opens. I put it back in, it opens successfully, but only one time. What in HECK is going on????
