When your hatch area is full of audio where do you put your t-tops...I presume in the back seat, but then how do you strap them down? I ask because I just bought a Trans Am with a sub and amp installed in the amp and I dunno where to put the tops.

For my previous setup, I had a set of t-top bags from an Olds Cutlass I used to own. They were a bit large for our type of tops, but they did the trick for me. I also invested in a set of speaker grilles so as not to damage the drivers when the tops or cargo were placed in the rear. The bags, with the tops in them, rested against the back seat and actually sat on the enclosure (sometimes I had trouble shutting the hatch if they weren't positioned just so). With my current setup, I use the normal t-top bag and straps.

My firebird came with a bag that strapped over the rear hump. All you had to do is strap it over the subs... no big deal

I have seen some cars where they leave them at home (I love laughing at them when it starts raining) I used to use the backseat area (not like a human is going to sit there anyway)

i leave one on the car and another shattered on the highway..
i honestly dont see why you would take them off.. its just a hassle.. as you can tell from the one i left in a million pieces..

I have something similar to Al Hasse, I just lay them on top of the audio stuff. I made my own subbox and added little "fins" so the tops wouldn't slide around. I normally have a layer of fabric (old blanket) between the audio/ t-top1 / t-top2...

I double check everytime I let them, or just do it myself...

i'll either just strap them down right over the subs or i'll put them in the back seat and yeah a lot of my friends want to put the t-tops on but i'll always tell them 'unless you got roughly 500 bucks just incase you break one, then sure' but seeing as how its winter time im just leaving mine locked in and actually locked too until spring

yeaa, idk, i think one of my friends didnt latch it or soemthin idk, but there fully locked now and wen i take mine off i norm leave them home and or strap them down in my bags cause i dont have ne thin in the back e way
