Help! Did I get the wrong size capacitors?

Hey guys, not to knowledgeable on this stereo stuff but here it goes.

I want to take the bass off the 4x6's in the dash since I now have a sub in the car.

A friend told me to buy a 10uf and a 22uf capacitor connect then (32uf total) and run them inline with each speaker.

For some reason I feel this is to small?

They are 50 volts maximum non polarized.

What will these do for me? Is it what I really want?

Yea, that seems too small.. I get a cutoff around 800Hz with that value.. You might want something like 220uF to give around 120Hz cutoff. Exact value depends on the speakers impedance at that frequency. I used 6 Ohms as a medium value in my calculation.
