Help with everything

OK guys, my 89 IROC had the bose system, there arent any rear speaks in the sail panels, i dont know why, and theres nothing in the back b/c the previous owner put subs in. i had the 2 bose kick panels but they both went out on me. i need help and came to the experts. ive got the 6x9's in the sail panels so i got that covered, but i wanna put some 4x6's in the dash and possibily do somethin creative w/ the kick panels since they both crapped out on me. if anyone has any knowledge of which 4x6's fit the best or require the least amount of modification, please lemme know. i want this to sound good but im also on a budget build. thanks in advance for all your help

Re: Help with everything

I run infinity Refrence 4x6's in the front and 6x9's in the back They give great mids and highs since i have my lows covered with the subs lol. Basically my whole set up is infinity refrence 4x6's in the front 6 1/2's in kickpanels Infinity tweeters in the door panels 6x9's in the sail panels <all amplified by a profile 700watt 4 channel amp. 2 12's Rockford P3's run by a profile 700watt monobox amp. Upgrades will be two P3 tens wheres the backseat is with a new rockford fosgate amp that runs 1000watts rms its bad. It all depends wut u want too do if you dont want too get subs I would suggest Alpine type R speakers for everything there alot more bassy then the infinitys but there not as clear in the high and mids add tweeters somewhere and get some crossovers for them. And get a good headunit I like the alpine and pioneer ones.

Re: Help with everything

Well if you have subs then I would have too suggest infinitys awsome clearity and the price is right. Upgrade those subs thou and dont go sony on anything lol. sony xpolode<<they do explode lol. But itll work for now. run like a 500watt 4 channel too ur speakers at least and i think ull be happy.

Re: Help with everything

im guessing its a 4 channel amp then. Ya i wasnt saying upgrade right now just in the future when u get money theres a whole diffrent world in car stereo out there its always nice too make a step up. You should look into some alpine Type R subs nice stuff 1500peak. But for my dash speaker i did no mods wut so ever they fit right in the driver side was a lil difficult but i finally got it too fit with a lil bit of bending but it all fits. Kick panels i made the structure for the speakers out of wood screwed screws into the back on the kickpanel into the wood too keep it in place cut the whole then fiberglassed the rest. Id have to go downstairs and take pics if u dont know how too fiberglass u can just cover it with cloth too match ur interior that would work.
