Stereo wiring issue

I bought my 89 Turbo Trans Am used and after owning for a few years, I had an issue develop with the radio staying on even if the key was off. Also the windshield wipers work when the key is off too. Not sure if that is related or not. But I found an aftermarket relay set up. Looks like the guy try to piece the wiring back together when he put a stock radio back in it. Here is a link to some of the picks. Any ideas are welcome. Also, the 3rd wire off the realy goes to a gray/blue wire on the passenger side of the dash. it is the plug on the left hand side and it is the top right port.

Thanks for the help.

Re: Stereo wiring issue

i would check for power on the yellow wire on the radio with a test light with ignition on and off , radio connected ,then check it with radio disconnected, if it has power with radio disconnected and ign off something is back feeding the accesory circuit , maybe that relay or something else .

Re: Stereo wiring issue

I figured it out. The power for the clifford alarm was rigged through the radio power. So I disconnected that wire. Everything is good now.

Thanks
