is it cooked?

my cd deck is a jvc dont know much about it the guy before me put it in, weather the cars on or off all it does is eject the cd and show the time. any ideaS? or is it fried

well well well looks like im not the only person in this world who had this same problem. Mine did the same thing and its fried. mine still played the radio tho, but everytime i put a cd in it would say error, and eject the cd. Had it tested and it was fried.
