Cooked Modules

Heres a good one for you guys. I have an 89 Formula 350 w/TPI. The car has extensive modifications using mostly TPIS components including a level 5 chip. The ignition is MSD 6A and Blaster 2 coil. I've moved the battery to the trunk. All of the wiring has been checked and rechecked. I've got good voltage going to the distributor and comuter even during cranking. New battery, alternator, and computer. Here is the problem: The car burns out an ignition module after about 3 days of use. Only the injector side cooks as there is still plenty of spark but no fuel. If I replace the ignition module the car starts immediately. I have now replaced about 8 modules in the course of my troubleshooting. The car sits a lot and is not started for 3-5 days sometimes. Today I ripped out the alarm system that was tied into the VATS with a relay. I'm losing my mind. Once the car is running it is awesome but it is not reliable. There is no hint of trouble whilr the car is running. Only at startup. Anyone have a clue. I would appreciate any help.

This is the module in the dist, right? I do know that you have to put a layer of silicone grease on the bottom of the module to promote better heat transfer from it. It may be getting too hot.
