My cheap sub setup, cost me $22
That right folks, it cost me about $22 to get 2 Alpine subs.
1st, I got the box from Stevo, who found it in a junk yard, he had it for awhile, then decided he wasn't going to use it, so instead of throwing it away, I took it home with me. Where it sat in the corner of my dining room for a little over a year.

I got the Alpine MRP-M450 and 2 Alpine 10" Subwoofers from work. I sell cars and this 18 year old chick traded in her VW Beetle convertible for an Evo X. Since the Evo came with a 650 watt Rockford Fosgate factory sound system, she didn't want her subs or amp. So of coarse I took them out. The subs were in a mass produced box. I took them home, and they sat on top of the junk yard box for about a week. Then one night I was sitting on the couch, and I thought, "Hey I should see if those subs will fit in that box." So I tried, and the subs just needed a little less than 1/2" depth to fit. So I bought some 1/2" MDF 10" trim rings, and a heavy duty terminal connector, and this is what I ended up with.

It does need new carpet, but I have a roll up shade anyways, so nobody sees them anyways.
