single 12" sub box?

single 12" sub box?

Does anyone know of a place that sells a box like the dual 12" where it sits in the dip in the trunk and there is a sub on either side of the trunk latch but is only made for one 12"? I have an awesome memphis setup that is only a mono amp and one 12" sub. Maybe if the dual boxes have independent chambers i can plug up the second chamber where the unused place where the second sub would be?

Best bet is to get one custom made, that way you can have it built to the sub's specs so it sounds best. I have the same setup in my 92 and have a custom enclosure of 1.5 cubic feet for a single 12" Memphis MOJO made from MDF and fiberglass. The MOJO is driven from the bass output of a Memphis Belle 5-channel amp.

holy snikes man! lol I only had one 12" M3 in my last car and it rattled my teeth. I couldent imagine a MOJO. I guess I will have to talk to the guys at my car audio shop and see if they can build me a custom box to fit in the trunk well. It would be really cool to make a box like a typical dual 12 setup but have one side be just a big 12" memphis logo or a bowtie logo.

To give you an idea, here's its beginnings. There is some dead air space on the passenger side where the enclosure doesn't extend all the way over. My amp is incorporated int to the finished product and I had a cover for the whole thing built from perforated steel and acoustic carpet.
