Thanks they hit really hard. It's impossible to push the 12w6V2 so hard in such a small cabin in the car before you loose your hearing. Its a lot more bass than i can handle.

I bet, I'm running an alpine head unit, with twin alpine type R 10's in the rear with DVC's and well I had to do a speaker upgrade just to get some clarity. I upgaded to the alpine type S component system and put in to 1 Farad caps for the amp driving the subs and the components, cleaned it up a bit, but still hits like a sledge if I crank it.

Do the upgrade now and maybe spare your old one for re-use if you pull the system. Or wait for it to pop and chance overheating your motor if you have electric fans. Upgrade now in my oppinion bro.

That is sweeeet, I love JL. I have a single W6 inverse mounted in my 92. That box is super beefy too, looks like you could set a couple of kegs in there.

I woulda painted those white parts the same color make it all match and flip the JLs facing towards the end would of looked cooler if you gonna show them off but thats me. Sweet box tho very beefy. I got same subs and love em they pound like a motha ****a.

Buy a better alt and big 3 and get rid of that ugly cap also
