Power antenna
This may sound stupid, but where does the power antenna get it's power from? Does it come from one of the connections on the back of the stereo? My antenna is broke and I am going to fix it when I replace my fender, but I would just like to know what all wires go to it. When I hit the power button on the stereo I can hear a click under the passenger side of the dash, does that mean it's getting power? I have a UT4 and a base Delco w/ Ipod input, but they both look the same on the back.

Re: Power antenna
The trigger for the antenna relay ,what you hear clicking, is the pink wire in the radio harness.Once that relay is energised it's main contacts close to supply power to the antenna motor. I apologise that I don't remember where the relay gets it main power for the antenna motor/

Re: Power antenna
I dont know the colors but your power antenna should have three wires going into it, A ground, A constant power source and a wire that should have positive 12 volts when the radio is on only.

Re: Power antenna
If you remove the hush panel (the outermost panel when removing the panels) from the passenger side it should expose some connectors. you should see two connectors with three wires coming off of them. I believe they are green, white and brown. the one you are looking for has wires that will run toward the passenger side and disappear under the dash. This is the power connector for your power antenna. It runs from there, through the firewall and to the fender. Hope this helps!

Ozz1967 thank you for being more specific as to where the relay is located. I knew I'd seen a wiring diagram on the web and finally found it - I'm not great at scanning from the service manual. Here's the link
