db readings?
i see alot of great installs that im useing as visual guides to build my box, also the sticky on box dimentions is a great help im just gonna modify the overal hight by 2-3 inches to gain a small amount of cuft then maby fiber glass the top panel, never messed with it before. has any one ever entered there whell box in a db drag to see what they hit? im just curiouse cus i have hopes of it being at least 140db, and i know amp and sub combos make the difference too. all im worried about now is the box. thank you for any info.

What subs and amp do you plan to run? Do you want to run legal? Or outlaw?

Re: db readings?
140dB is attainable, a few years back I hit about 135 with a pair of JL 10W0 and a Phoenix Gold 2 channel amp (I forget offhand which one) dedicated to the subs. My entire system then was about 350 watts. Keep in mind that with every 3dB increase in SPL, your volume is doubled, so the higher numbers get harder to attain without lots of power.

Re: db readings?
135 is really loud for a basic setup, I used to do 132 with a very similar setup to yours. I later upgraded to a punch 800.2 and a pair of Hollywood Excursion 1280D4s I doubt that was quite 140 even outlaw but it was probably close. The best way to get to 140 will be quality subs, vented enclosure, and good power (500 watts or so). I have a 10in ported well box that will put out painful amounts of volume on a Punch 300s but it sounds pretty horrible for everyday listening.

Re: db readings?
I don't know what I'll get now. Memphis Belle puts 1100 watts RMS to the woofer which is a 12" Memphis MOJO which is capable of 2000 watts MAX (1000 RMS). My ammeter hooked to the amp has shown on occasion in excess of 100 amps on the heavy bass lines. but my system is set up more for SQL instead of SPL, but can get pretty loud when I want it there. Still, SPL isn't all in the power you put to the sub, but mostly in the enclosure and how well it's tuned.
Now that I think about it, 132 was about what I hit with those 10W0 JL's when I did a dB drag.
