Fitting 6-1/2's in the dash?
Fitting 6-1/2's in the dash?
Hey guys,
I have a pair of 6-1/2 pioneer's. I want to know if there is anyway i can get them to fit in the dash, without too much modification.
I am on a pretty tight budget so cheap would be nice.
Thanks,
Brandon

im going to say NO WAY.....its really tight fit just putting in some good aftermarket 4x6 speakers in it. You would definately have to do some extreme cutting.

You can probably fit 6 1/2's in there if you made some new brackets and tossed the 4x6 brackets.

No way I pulled the original 4x6 bracket and made my own plate to fit a 5 1/4 and that was a tight fit. Any way the dash will cover more than 50% of the speaker.
