hey there. May car currently has a pioneer deck installed into it. I get sound out of it just fine, well atleast in the dash speakers.

Im going to assume that here are spuose to be speakers behind the panels in ther rear of the car aswell? I get no sound from the back. Ive played with every setting on the deck.

Im going to believe that they just didnt make some models without speakers either.

Im thinking that either the deck isnt hooked up right, the speakers are gone or blown, or other.

I do have a shop manual, but its not very clear, any help on taking off the panels would be a great help. Im not the greatest at wiring.

 

there is one screw in each panel, inside the hook, its a Phillips head, take it out, push up on the panel, it will pop out, that's your first step to see if you even have speakers, check that and get back to us, then we can help you with the next step

 

Am i correct to assume that every car has 6x9 in the rear and they wouldnt just leave it empty.

If its a bose equipped car, it wont have dash or rear speakers. The bose cars had kick panel speakers and a speaker tray in the hatch. Dont know about firebirds. My iroc has bose and it doesnt have 4x6s in dash and no 6x9s in rear from the factory. I'm not forsure if the radio delete cars got speakers installed from the factory but they could of.
