CHECK THIS OUT

HOW WOULD I GO ABOUT MAKING THIS FOR 89 RS I HAVE THE TOOLS IM THINKING MAKING A TEMPLATE OUT OF CARBOARD THEN TRANSFER TO WOOD I WAS JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS DONE THIS BEFORE AND WOULD HAVE SOME POINTERS I NEED TO MAKE IT LIKE THIS SO I CAN KEEP MY TRUNK SPACE IVE DONE THE WHOLE (2) 15 INCH SUBS AND HAVE NO TRUNK THING SO I JUST WANT TO PUT ONE BOX ON EACH SIDE WHAT DIMENSIONS SHOULD I USE SO THE AIRSPACE WOULD BE RIGHT?

start with the card board template...then make a frame out of 3/4" mdf. its gonna be a fiberglass box for sure. the rear area should be enough to get at least 1.25 qft of air space per side., so pic your subs accordingly. i would recommend a 10". also, i would angle them up towards the glass just a lil bit. it adds db. remember that you can build across the bottom of the rear area and still make it look sweet. just take from there if you need more air space. y ou might even be able to port or vent it if you do that.

that does look killer though. best of luck man. hope this helps!

holy **** that does look sweet. I didn't want a sub because i didn't want it to take up the cargo dent, but if it looks like that i want one! can I buy that from somewhere?

hey guys i already made one but i drove over some rail road tracks and it fell apart. ill post some pics when i get my camera if my mom doesnt throw it away.

so i have decided that im going to make these starting tomorrow im gonna see how much work goes into it and i was wondering if people would like to see the box look stock and curve with the trunk (more $) or just sit there like the pic above please let me know your opinions
