Who refurbs 3rd gen factory radios?
Hi everyone,
Does anyone know of someone who might refurbish original GM CD player/radios? The volume button on mine is damaged and it is locked out from the previous owner changing the battery. I need to get the button replaced and get it unlocked.
Thanks,
Jason

How much does something like that cost? I know I have my factory radio sitting in the garage not being use, you prolly could pick one up real cheap used thats in perfect working condition, like mine...

It depends on whats wrong. I had a antenna input replaced and it was 70 bucks. As far as finding a replacement radio some are easy to find while others are difficult to find. I tried to find one for my gta with eq and steering controls. No luck.

Spoke to the folks at mnrelectronics.com, who were very helpful by the way, told me that I can try to disconnect and reconnect the battery and if that does not work, I may be out of luck. Maybe I can try the code sequence again after that and it will work.......
