Bose Gold System Removal
I finally installed my new head unit, 4x6 dash, and 6x9 sail panel speakers but my question is this.
How do I completely disable all the bose stuff to include the kick panel and hatch shelf speakers? Do I just unplug the speakers at their connections or do I have to remove a relay or something? Does anyone know of any wiring diagrams besides the haynes/chilton manual stuff that would be useful for my application?
The problem that I'm having is that when I switch to tuner mode on the head unit I'm getting all kinds of noise and interference over the remaining bose speakers installed in the car!
Basically I am just running a Sony head unit with pioneer 4x6 in the dash and pioneer 6x9 in the sail panel.
Thanks

Re: Bose Gold System Removal
I would think that if you disconnected them from the back of the head unit, that would disable them.

Re: Bose Gold System Removal
Does the Bose speaker system have individual amplifiers at the speakers and not the head unit? If so, you would need to remove the +12 Volt line at each of the individual amplifiers.
