Din Size

Din Size

What is the Din size I keep getting conflicting answer from stereo company's and others. Some say it is 1.5 Din and I have heard that Double will fit but very tight what is the verdict from those who know

our actual size is 1.5... most people use 1 din stereos with the mounting kit

1.5 DIN is correct. single din kits are available by many different companies. double din can be made to work with a lot of creativity, but not a direct drop in and go.

The following shows an Alpine 1.5 in my IROC. The 1.5, IMO, simply looks better.

One Din Pioneer radio with adapter plate. Didn't want anything to radical.

A bit of Velcro on the remote's backside and it adheres nicely to the carpet. The remote is on the pass side because my wife thinks she in charge of the radio .
