I've got an 86 Trans Am and was wondering if these pioneers are going to fit, i haven't got a straight answer yet, everyone seems to think differently. They look pretty stock, am i going to have to cut?

If I remember correctly, they are 4" x 6" speakers. So just get out the tape measure

 

Well if it were that easy i would've done that and not needed any help, but i know that some speakers wont fit, whether they are 4x6s or not. So i was just curious what my options were without the mods to the air duct or anything else, and i wanted some more definite answers because if i order them and they dont fit, then thats possibly weeks of hassle for returns, more research, and ordering, etc. thats all

 

go to crutchfield and go to "outfit your car". then type in what type of car you have and choose "speakers" and try to find your speakers... if you cant find your speakers find some with the same mounting depth of the ones you want to order. if you have any trouble, tell us what model and brand your speakers are... the exact model number would be great, and it wont be any prob finding the answer.
