simple wire question

simple wire question

i feel like an idiot for asking this, but where is the best place to buy power, speaker and RCA wire from? like should i just go to best buy or radioshack? its going to hook up to a 75X4 infinity amp.

lol i have the same amp, well in my bros truck... try ebay. i bought a lighting audio 4gauge kit for dual amp( yes i know u only have one) but the quality of the wires in the kit really impressed me... i picked it up for 35 dollar buy it now

Thats not bad at all...I paid like 80 for my RF wiring...Is ur kit true 4 AWG though?

Just make sure you buy a true AWG kit...otherwise ur amp is gonna be underpowered and by underpowering u are gonna put more strain on ur amp ...and by doing thaaaaaaaat ur amp is gonna run hotter which is gonna result in a shortened amp life span.

There might be other brands out there that use true 4 awg but just to be safe go with Rockford Fosgate,Memphis,Kicker,KnuKonceptz,Monster Cable,Streetwires,Tsunami,JL Audio,Phoenix Gold..etc...look on ebay u might find a good deal on a used kit.


Also make sure u get twisted pair Rca's....they will reject noise....(I have some twisted pair Memphis or RF for cheap )

yep, it is thick as heck( the actual wire not the plastic) , rockford fosgate actually makes lightning audio
