Is there any place in my 87 camaro that would fit a pair of 5x7 alpine s series?

6x9's are bad enough, why would you want a 5x7? If you want to venture away from stock sizes, a better direction would be to adapt a round speaker instead of oval shaped speakers. Typically you'll get better sound quality.

reason why 5x7 is that I have them and don't feel like buyin somethin else when the 5x7 are just sittin around plus with the set up I have now the 5x7 would be an improvement

Guessing you had a Ford before? Only place I ever saw 5x7's as a stock size (had a Taurus at one point that used em myself). You should be able to use the factory metal mounting bracket to trace a new template to mount the speaker to the car with.
