cheap amp for 1 8ohm speaker????

cheap amp for 1 8ohm speaker????
i'm sorry but i'm not paying 200 bucks for a amp thats only boosting the volume for a single 8ohm speaker. thats what one shop priced it at.
i'll go on ebay and buy a used one cheap. but i dont know anythign about amps.
i have a waterpproof speaker hidden in the bumper and nothing is feeding it but my ipod.
i just want to make it louder.
so any brands or model numbers or wahtever would be helpful
