Delco bose/Base model speakers . how to tell

I plan on finally putting a radio into my iroc in the future. The previous owner before me screwed it up royaly and threw away all four speakers. Now i have the original deck which is advertised as delco bose system. there is also an emblem in the interior for delco bose. Now when i redid my interior i can only remember 2 wires going to the rear speakers!! according to the wiring diagrams i have been collecting in advance for this job is telling me there should be 2 extra(pink wires) coming of the amp/relay. Now im confused by all this. can anyone help me out i found a set of speakers on ebay i would like to purchase but now i am confused if i need a set of special delco bose speakers. and besides it dosent even appear my car is wired for delco/bose option when clearly the RPO codes indicate my car has the option. im very lost and hoping for help.

The Bose system had speakers in the front kick panels, not in the dash. Rear speakers were in a sub panel in the back of the car. Speakers had an amp at each speaker. Pretty powerful system but seemed to be lots of problems with them which is why most of the cars with Bose stereos have had them replaced.

I did a lot of rip and replace Bose systems. Don't replace it with Bose. Swap it all to aftermarket. You'll be much happier.
