CD Changer Mounting

I have a 1987 Trans-Am. I just purchased a Delco AM/FM/Cassette head unit with a 12 CD changer #16199553 from a 1996 Camaro. I am looking for any information for mounting the CD changer including horizontal and/or vertical or at any angle and good mounting locations. Also any operational manuals or info. Thanks in advance.

pic of the mounting in my 2001 TA:

thirgen is pretty much the same location. either left or rightside your pref. just run the cable to the headunit and plug in. if i remember right the HU powers the changer. it has to be mounted flat as above, it will not work otherwise.

controls are very intuitive i didnt have a manual for the system in my 89 formula figured it out in about 15 seconds. the only trick is the cd's go on the trays label down.

Thank you Mudskunk. I was thinking either the well like you have it or somehow in the lockable compartment on the left side out of view.
