Kicker 15" L7

Ok guys, i basically just came across two 15" Kicker L7's for free from a friend who lost a bet, and i was wondering does anyone know of where i can get a box for them to fit in my third gen, I have a 86 T/A, I looked on ebay and I see a dual 15" enclosure for a pair of round subs, but does anybody know where I can get a dual 15" SQUARE Sub woofer box for a third gen..... Also Does anybody have two 15's in the third gens and if u wouldn't mind could you post pics.....

prefab boxes for these cars arent too common, so i dont believe anyone makes a prefab box for the square 15s. pretty sure you're gonna have to do it yourself (modify a dual 12" might work if its got the right volume) or have one done up for you

You're going to have to get the box custom built.

MINIMUM sealed box requires 3 cu.ft. it's gonna be tight. Buy lots of fill.

Sell one 15 to fund the box build.

Re: Kicker 15" L7

dont sell one 15.... im putting to 15 inch rockford fosgate hx2's in my camaro had to take the back seat out to get the right size box. all those pre fab boxes are lik 1.75 cubes per chamber. just take out ur back seat and put them there. its a two seater car any ways.lol

To each his own, but I think sub boxes in the back seat look GHETTO unless it's a custom fiberglass job. It's the old MECP tech in me.

I also think selling one isn't a bad idea, 1 15 inch kicker L7 I would imagine being plenty of bass. Plus it would be a lot easier to put in the back. 2 might be a bit of over kill. You are going to need a custom box, maybe consider a fiberglass box you should be able to get more space in The hatch that way.

Re: Kicker 15" L7

those L7s knock! you would be good with one especially in a third gen. and you could build a box with the proper ddimensions to fit behind the backseat. theres so many possibilities so you could come mup with something cool. put the sub behind the seat, and the amp in the storage compartment to save room. thats my 2 cents

Re: Kicker 15" L7

Sell one. Two is only 3db louder than one anyway, hardly noticeable. Frankly 1 15" L7 is overkill in a car, unless you are a boom-boom baby.
