how to stop the rattle of subs?

how to stop the rattle of subs?

well i got 2 subs and needless to say it rattles like crazy. so far i now the tail lights and lience plate rattle but theres a bunch more. but ideas on where and more importantly how to stop the rattle? do they make a kit?

You could try dynamat its a sound deaden-er that you put throughout the car and helps reduce rattling.

Try turning it down!!! Our cars rattle enough, they don't need any help....

You have to put rubber, or felt, or foam or something every place that rattles. Like the license plate - it's rattling against the car - have to put something there to stop the metal-against-metal.

Also, my rear hatch shocks were very noisy, replacing them and adding an o-ring to the bolts cured the issue. Takes time and effort so solve the rattles. Good luck hunting.

mine never rattled lol, till 2 12" subs came along

What Ive Heard Is That Just House Insulation From The Hardware Store Works Pretty Good, Just Take All Of Youre Panels From The Back Out Or From Wherever It Rattles & Try It, Its Cheaper & I Heard Its Lighter Than Dynomat.
