problem with front speakers

Transmission: stage 10 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.27 axle
problem with front speakers

i have added a kicker amp and jl sub now im in mids and highs. i bought rockford and fosgate 6x9s and kenwood 4x6s. the problem im having is ear piercing raspy mid and high out of the front speakers and slightly out the rears i have a sony head unit is this just head unit distortion problem?

unfortunately, 4x6 speakers usually do not equal great sound; the cones are too small to really reproduce and mids or midbass. you should be able to play with the eq on the radio to make things a bit more manageable though.

i have only 200hz and up going to them and even the rears sound like they have high side distortion
