84 camaro Headunit help
Hey guys, im wondering if i can run a 2 din headunit in the camaro or do i have to stick with a 1 din? id like a DVD screen in the dash, 2 din seems to be more popular for this, thanks

they're actually 1.5 din, (GM couldn't just go either way)
i know that people put 4th gen stereos in 3rd gens, and they put double dins in 4th gens. so all i can say is just go out to your car with a tape measure and see if it would fit (which i think it would)
the only thing would be to get a new bezel and trim/fiberglass it so it covers it up nicely.

function works great here - lots of posts on double din installs - but the short of it is, you have to mod something yourself. Thread Starter

i have a 1.5 din pioneer in my car .no longer available from pioneer but ive seen them on ebay.
